  • Click here to read frequently asked questions about homelessness and programs in Orange County.
  • Recommend services that have been most helpful to you to advocate them to others by rating or commenting on them.

Our day and evening outpatient programs will let you keep your daily work schedule and help make your life more stable and easier to manage.

      Open every day from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Our House is a warm, welcoming, friendly, safe, drop-in center where our homeless sisters and brothers can get a cup of coffee and a snack, relax, read, catch a nap, watch a movie, listen to music, or play a game. They can also talk with a counselor who will help them check out job or housing opportunities, find shelter for the night, complete paperwork related to SSI, social services or other public and/or private agencies, connect with a detox or rehab center or health care agency, or simply talk about life's joys and struggles.

      The Respite House at Crystal Run Village offers parents and primary caregivers a temporary break from the demands of caring for their family member with a disability. Everyday of the week, 365 days a year, the program provides hourly, day or overnight "like home" supervision in a comfortable safe environment with room and board possible for short-term or long-term stays.

      Bon Secours - New Directions

      If you or someone you know is suffering from alcoholism, drug abuse or a mental illness, Bon Secours Community Hospital's behavioral health services can assist you in your time of need. New Directions Program utilizes a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, social workers, and CASAC counselors.

      Richard C. Ward Addiction Treatment Center

      The Richard C. Ward Addiction Treatment Center is a 60 bed inpatient facility located in Middletown , New York and has been offering innovative treatment and services to aid in the recovery of addicts and their families. Ward ATC offers Acupuncture Services, a Specialized Women's Track, Dual Recovery Groups, Methadone Maintenance, and a new creative arts program called Innervisions to help addicts express feelings in healthy ways. The facility (formerly called Middletown ) was recently renamed in honor of its late director, Richard C. Ward.
